Rice quality check for farmers in 2023
Goal Check the quality of rice for all 753 member farmers (100%)
– for farmers to know the quality of their own rice and to prepare for next production
– OASIS member farmers sent 412 rice samples (55%) for inspection.
– To check: crack to determine the contamination of the rice seeds, 100 grams per sample, count the contamination. (Contamination is rice seed that is not jasmine rice)
– Result
- 0 – 10 seeds: 198 samples 48% (good)
- 11-20 seeds: 56 samples 14% (average)
- more than 21 seeds: 158 samples38% (need to be improved)
